We share your interest and participation in the shooting sports all while respecting and fostering Colorado's rich and proud recreational shooting heritage.

Design

We can help you design an affordable shooting range that promotes safe and efficient operations and ease of maintenance. We follow all safety standards and best practices and we ensure that all elements of your shooting range fit into an integrated package that is best described as the "Four E's:"

  • Evaluate the needs of the user and identify what specific shooting activities will be conducted at the facility.
  • Engineer the range to accommodate the chosen shooting activities and stay within design limits.
  • Educate the customers who use the shooting range to include orientation programs and training.
  • Enforce the rules and regulations in the safety plan through passive and active controls.

Operate

We can provide the techniques and tools to operate a safe shooting range including the administration, safety and security, public and contractor/employee health, programs and events, etc.

  • Administration includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, worker's compensation, insurance, inventory control, management of goods and services, etc.
  • Safety includes the enforcement of a written safety plan which contains the safety rules, training programs, waivers, etc. Security includes features and procedures that protect the facility such as alarm systems, fencing, gates, trespass signage, random patrols, etc.
  • Public health includes lead management, emergency response plans, trauma and first aid kits, etc. Contractor/employee health includes safety plans that meet OSHA requirements, blood and hearing testing, fire extinguisher, safety training, CPR and Stop the Bleed, Range Safety Officer training, etc.
  • We pride ourselves on providing outstanding programs and events and we cater them to new and experienced shooters.

Maintain

We can help you maintain your shooting range and ensure its longevity. This includes policies and procedures, bullet and lead containment, sound abatement, target construction, equipment and vehicles, etc.

  • Policies and procedures are needed to ensure standardized practices that are understood by contractors/employees, volunteers and customers.
  • Proactive bullet and lead containment in the form of a comprehensive Environmental Stewardship Plan (ESP) is required to help with potential legal, financial, and public relations liabilities.
  • Sound abatement includes the management of the sound of gunfire on a shooting range in conjunction with Federal and State laws and local ordinances in consultation with acoustic consultants.
  • Several standards and best practices exist in the area of target construction including maintenance, storage and disposal.
  • Equipment and vehicles often involve leased or purchased assets that are needed to maintain the shooting range and ensure continuity of operations.
